These sixteen pieces for flute and piano were composed based on rhythmic and melodic challenges typically addressed in etudes, but in this case woven into pieces with piano accompaniment. Each piece is preceded by an exercise that allows students to practice the rhythmic or melodic challenge they will encounter in the piece.
Based on the difficulty of the flute part, the pieces are suitable for performance in various grades of elementary music school. The main booklet contains exercises and pieces for flute, accompanied by an introductory verse and beautiful illustrations by Urška Stropnik Šonc. The booklet includes a link to a website with recordings of the pieces and piano accompaniments. Slow-motion recordings of the piano accompaniment are also included to facilitate practice. A separate booklet contains the complete score with piano accompaniment.
